Prevention and Early Detection are keys to maintaining Healthy Eyes, as some eye health issues have no immediate symptoms but can still cause damage if left untreated. That’s why regular check-ups are critical.

At The Optical Co. we take Eye Health very seriously. We have invested heavily on State of The Art Eye Testing equipment to be able to provide Class Leading Eye Examinations.

We allow 45 minutes for our Advanced Eye Examination which includes an OCT scan. This is a Non- Invasive scan of the back of the eye using Advanced Imaging techniques giving us a 3D view of the retina. This allows Early Diagnosis of many sight threatening conditions such as Glaucoma, Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetes and others. An Eye Examination with us is never rushed. We always go Above And Beyond to give our patients the time they need to feel Confident and Reassured about their Eye Test results. All of our Patients are welcome to pop back in anytime if they need further Explanations or Advice.

Our Optometrists are MECS accredited which means they can also provide Emergency Eye Examinations to patients suffering with Red and/ or Painful Eyes, Sudden Blurred or Loss of Vision and more.

We also provide NHS eye care to anyone that is eligible.
